What is Build for Her?
Build for Her is a 14-Day App Development Challenge, organized by Digia in collaboration with Google Developer Group. This challenge aims to encourage developers to leverage Digia Studio to create innovative mobile applications addressing women-centric themes and issues. With a focus on empowering women through technology, we invite developers to showcase their creativity and problem-solving skills, contributing to the advancement of gender equality and social justice.
Build for Her Objective
The primary objective of this challenge is to develop mobile applications using Digia Studio that tackle women-centric themes, addressing challenges, promoting empowerment, and fostering inclusivity. Participants will have 14 days to conceptualize, design, and build their apps, emphasizing usability, innovation, and social impact.

Timeline:
Launch: 6th April, 2024
Submission Deadline: 21st April, 2024.
Judging Period: 22nd-28th April,2024
Winners Announcement: 29th April, 2024.
Participation Guidelines:
• This challenge is open to all developers, regardless of experience level.
• Participants must use Digia Studio for app development.
• Apps must focus on women-centric themes and demonstrate a clear social impact.
• Teams can consist of up to 4 members.
• Each team must submit their app along with a brief description outlining its purpose, features, and target audience.
Judging Criteria
Innovation: Uniqueness and creativity of the app concept.
Usability: Intuitiveness and user-friendliness of the app interface.
Impact: Potential social impact and relevance to women-centric themes.
Technical Execution: Quality of coding, functionality, and integration of Digia Studio features.
Prizes:
First Place: Goodies, app featured on Play Store,In Digia Showcase and internship opportunity with Digia.
Second Place: Goodies and app featured on Play Store.
Third Place: Recognition and app featured on Play Store.
Special Mentions: Recognition for outstanding achievements.
