What you can do with WebEngage and Digia Engage

Extend journeys into the app

Layer native-feeling widgets and nudges on top of WebEngage journeys instead of relying on email and push alone.

Keep segments consistent

Target in-app experiences with the same segments and user fields your team curates in WebEngage.

Coordinate channel and in-app

See when a user hits a journey step, then show an in-app confirmation, upsell, or survey in the same session.

Measure end-to-end

Track in-app outcomes next to channel metrics so PMs and growth can read one story across touchpoints.

How WebEngage and Digia Engage work together

  1. Add the plugin to your app

Install the Digia Engage WebEngage plugin alongside the core SDK. Available for Flutter (digia_webengage_plugin), Android (engage-webengage), React Native, and iOS.

  2. Sync users and attributes

Connect identifiers and profile fields so Digia Engage can resolve the same users WebEngage already tracks.

  3. Align segments and publish experiences

Map WebEngage segments to in-app targeting rules, then ship widgets, stories, and nudges from the Digia Engage dashboard.

  4. Close the loop

Review conversion and engagement data alongside your existing WebEngage reporting.

Common questions

Is the WebEngage integration live?
Yes. The WebEngage plugin is available for all supported platforms.
How does the WebEngage plugin work?
You install the Digia Engage WebEngage plugin alongside the core SDK. It links WebEngage user identity so journey events and segment data can trigger native in-app widgets, nudges, and stories without additional engineering per campaign.
Can WebEngage journeys trigger in-app nudges?
Yes. When WebEngage marks a user as eligible for a journey step, Digia Engage can show a matching in-app confirmation, upsell, or survey in the same session.
Does this replace WebEngage?
No. WebEngage continues to own outbound channels, journeys, and analytics. Digia Engage adds the native in-app layer: widgets, nudges, gamification, and video.
How long does the integration take to set up?
The plugin adds around 20 minutes of engineering time on top of the core SDK integration. After that, growth and product teams ship campaigns from the dashboard without opening engineering tickets.
